Six varieties of blueberry ripen across late June into July, and blackberries and wineberries come off the same ground. There are cut flowers as well, and whatever heirloom vegetables the garden makes more of than the family can use. Some of the fruit goes into jams.
Hours move with the ripening, so the patch asks you to look at its Facebook page or call ahead — 615-542-9120 — before you make the drive. It’s about half an hour north of Nashville.
