“Choose & Cut Your Own Fresh, Texas Grown Christmas Tree!”
— their words, off their own page
A family farm a few minutes north of Houston that grows its own trees. You walk the field, pick one and cut it — saws, measuring sticks and twine are on the place, and they shake and bale what you cut at no charge.
For anybody who wants a fir, they bring in pre-cut northern trees and keep them standing in water instead of leaning dry against a fence.
Walking in during the Christmas season is free. Before the trees open they run a pumpkin patch on the same ground each fall.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
