A choose-and-cut farm on Dorsey Road in north Pulaski County. You tag a tree and cut it yourself with the farm’s bow saws.
The field is Leyland and Arizona cypress, Virginia pine, Eastern white pine and Eastern redcedar. Hayrides are free, there is hot spiced tea, pine boughs and candy canes, and shaking, netting and drilling are included at no charge.
It opens the day after Thanksgiving. There is no website of its own — and note that holidayforesttrees.com belongs to an unrelated farm in Stanwood, Washington, so don’t follow that one. Phone 501-224-3797.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
