Fort Osage planted its first trees in 1994, and the farm has been hosting Kansas City families at Christmas for better than two decades.
Choose-and-cut is the point of the place, with pre-harvested trees for anybody who would rather not saw. There is a gift shop with holiday decorations, and hot chocolate on the house.
