Johnson Farms is a hundred and forty acres of working farm at Belton, south of the city, run by the family that farms it.
U-pick apples, pumpkins, vegetables, sunflowers and garden mums come off the place, with a corn maze and a sunflower field alongside the orchard.
It is a seasonal operation. The farm posts its season dates each year rather than keeping standing hours, so check before you load up the car.
