Moorhead’s Blueberry Farm

Conroe, Texas
Ring No. 12Price: free
Near Houston
Listed free. Nothing on this page was written by us that the farm didn’t say first.

“We grow ’em, you pick ’em!”

— their words, off their own page

Twenty acres of blueberries between Kingwood and The Woodlands, better than twenty varieties on it, and no pesticides or herbicides used on any of them. They have been letting people pick here since 1977, which makes this the oldest pick-your-own blueberry farm in Texas.

Berries were three seventy-five a pound in 2026, cash or check.

The season runs late spring into early summer and the gate closes when the crop is picked out — in 2026 a hard freeze on March 17 cut it short and the farm shut for the year on June 19. There is no street address published, so watch their own page for the season and the directions.
