“We are dedicated to being good stewards of the land”
— their words, off their own page
Roughly two thousand acres of native tallgrass prairie in the Kansas Flint Hills, run by Keith and Linda Long since 2013.
The farm is Certified Animal Welfare Approved and Certified Grassfed by AGW. What’s for sale is grass-fed beef — by the cut, as ground, as jerky, or in bundles — along with eggs and spice rubs.
They sell through their own online store with home delivery, and they carry to the Old Town and Winter farmers markets in Wichita; call ahead if you want an order held. Farm tours are by appointment. Lamb and pork show up on older directory listings but aren’t in the online shop now.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
