Country Pines is a family-owned choose-and-cut up in the Lee Road country north of Covington. You walk the field and pick a living tree — cut it yourself, or have it cut for you. No pre-cut trees on the lot.
The season opens the day after Thanksgiving and runs weekends into mid-December. They generally do not open in the rain, so confirm the year’s dates on their Facebook or Instagram before you load the family up.
