“From Pumpkin Patches to Strawberry Fields, Year-Round Family Memories”
— their words, off their own page
Mrs. Heather’s has been at it more than thirty years and runs two seasonal gates, in two different places. The pumpkin patch is the Hammond farm, mid-September into mid-November. The strawberry u-pick is a separate field over at Albany, 31458 Hwy 43, mid-March to Mother’s Day.
Both open seven days a week, nine to five, rain or shine. Admission covers the farm activities and sends you home with a pumpkin in the fall or a pound of strawberries in the spring.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
