“70 years of homegrown food, fresh produce, vibrant plants and flowers”
— their words, off their own page
Wenninghoff’s is a family farm inside the Omaha city limits, up on Wenninghoff Road. You do not have to leave the county to buy corn off the field it grew in.
The greenhouse opens first — plants and flowers from the middle of April into June — and the farm stand takes over from June 15 through the end of October with the home-grown produce and the sweet corn.
They run a CSA alongside the stand, so a share can stand in for the weekly trip. The phone is 402-677-5312.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
