Curt Carmack’s family has grown strawberries on this ground for around eighty years, five generations deep. It’s right off US-51 between Ripley and Halls.
In season there’s both pre-picked and pick-your-own. Sweet corn follows in summer; pumpkins and gourds come in the fall.
There’s no website — picking days go up on their Facebook page. Call ahead anyway, because the crop changes daily and a strawberry field does not care about your calendar.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
