“Seasonal Beauty Begins Here”

— their words, off their own page

Deborah Stone started Stone Hollow Farmstead in 1999 on eighty acres at Harpersville, and runs it now with her daughter Alexandra Stone Flowers. It is a Grade-A dairy, and goat cheese is the anchor of what comes off it.

Around the cheese there is a pantry — preserves, syrups, pickles, cooking vinegars — and then flowers, dahlia tubers, heirloom popcorn, candles and botanical skincare.

Read this part before you go: the farm is not open for drop-in visits. You get out there for a scheduled event, a workshop, or by appointment. Day to day the way to buy is the FarmStand at Pepper Place, 2825 2nd Avenue in Birmingham; their site carries the retail hours.
