“Nourishing families with farm goods grown & raised with integrity”
— their words, off their own page
Eden Ridge Acres has been serving Central Iowa since 2017 from Prole, about fifteen minutes south of West Des Moines. Their own line is “Nourishing families with farm goods grown & raised with integrity.”
The dairy is a micro herd of 100% A2/A2 registered Jerseys, grass-fed on pasture, and the raw milk is what most people come for. Alongside it: raw honey, pastured eggs and poultry, woodland heritage pork, organically grown produce, farm teas and jams, natural bath and body products, and rustic flower bouquets.
There is no public storefront. Pickup is at the farmhouse Tuesday and Thursday, two to six, year round, and farm visits are by appointment only — closed weekends and holidays. From June through September they also run Wednesday drops: Thrive Chiropractic in Urbandale at 3:00, and Truth Chiropractic in West Des Moines at 4:00.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
