Iowa Orchard runs two places. The farm market and the u-pick apples are on Meredith Drive in Urbandale, inside the metro. The u-pick berries and sunflowers are up at 13140 NW 102nd Avenue in Granger.
Apples run in more than twenty varieties, early September through mid-October. Berries are picked by appointment in June and July. The market itself carries homemade pies, local preserves and raw honey, and it is open Tuesday through Sunday, nine to six.
The pumpkin patch keeps the same hours and runs late September through Halloween.
