“Lavender, Christmas Trees, Mystery Dinners”
— their words, off their own page
A choose-and-cut tree farm just northwest of Wichita. You ride out to the fields on a horse-drawn hay rack or the family train, and there’s hot chocolate and Santa at the other end of it.
Pre-cut trees and wreaths are sold alongside the choose-and-cut. The season opens the day after Thanksgiving and runs to the middle of December.
The rest of the year the place grows lavender and runs the Prairie Pines Playhouse — mystery dinner theatre — and books photography sessions on the grounds.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
