Jarrell Bros. sells raw cow’s milk by the half gallon and the gallon out of Kentwood, bottled with the cream left in it. There is A2/A2 raw milk and A2/A2 raw heavy cream on the list as well, and skim.
Orders go in ahead, by phone or online. Pickup is at the dairy — call first, it is a working dairy and they are working it — and they run milk down to town on a schedule besides: Baton Rouge on Saturday mornings, Marrero on Wednesday afternoons, and select Saturdays in Lafayette. Retailers in Covington, Metairie, New Orleans and Baton Rouge stock it too.
This is the longest drive in the ring, about an hour and a quarter from either city. The pickup runs are how most people get around that.
