The stand sits on the farm, out on Mathis Road in Copiah County about forty minutes south of Jackson. What’s on the table is what’s in season and grown locally.
Around 1,400 blueberry plants in seven varieties are open for picking when the fruit is on. The honey — wildflower, comb and strained — comes off hives kept on the property; the farm states the hives are not treated with chemicals and the bees forage in unsprayed areas.
There are restrooms and a picnic area if you bring your own. Phone is 601-835-7305; ask for Wes Fitzpatrick III. Appointments can be made outside the posted hours. There’s no working farm website — Facebook is the live channel.
