“A small family farm using sustainable and natural growing methods”
— their words, off their own page
Van and Dorothy Killen farm at Flora, about twenty-five minutes northwest of Jackson. The box is built around what comes out of their own field — seasonal specialty produce — and filled out with add-ons from other growers and producers around Mississippi and Louisiana, Bozeman Farms beef out of Flora among them.
The 2026 Fall CSA is a ten-week share starting the week of October 6 and ending December 10, listed at $340. Members get a harvest update and recipes every week, and the farm runs occasional classes.
Pasture-raised eggs, chicken, pork and grass-fed beef go through the same box, along with shiitake and oyster mushrooms, sweet potatoes, local honey, seafood and coffee. Contact is [email protected].
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
