Wind Drift runs two orchards at Harrah, east of Oklahoma City — roughly twelve thousand producing trees between them. Thirty-eight peach varieties and six nectarine varieties, planted to ripen in sequence from the middle of June into early September.
You can pick your own, and the farm has posted that reservations are required to do it. If you would rather not, ready-to-eat peaches are sold at the stand all summer.
A second orchard on the east side, at 19400 NE 63rd St, has also been listed — call ahead to find out which one is open. Their winddriftorchards.com address came back locked when we checked it, so Facebook and Instagram are the live channels.
