The country around Oklahoma City runs flat and open, so an hour of driving covers more ground here than it does most places. All ten of these farms are Oklahoma — Mustang out west, Harrah and Luther east, Edmond and Guthrie north, Arcadia up on Route 66, and Lexington down south past Norman. Two of them are inside the city limits.
Guthrie is the long haul at the top of the ring, and the Shekinah Springs mailing address is misleading — the ZIP sits out toward Coyle, so give yourself the time. Two farms publish no street address at all: The Remnant Ranch sets your pickup when you order, and Guilford Gardens delivers across northwest Oklahoma City rather than asking you to come to it. Four farms in this ring run pick-your-own, and two of them come with a warning. Wind Drift Orchards at Harrah picks peaches and nectarines off roughly twelve thousand trees from the middle of June into early September, and has posted that reservations are required. Sorghum Mill at Edmond has four acres of blackberries, early June to mid-July. The two to call first: Buffalo Creek Berry Farm at Mustang announced it would not have enough strawberries for a 2026 crop, though it planned pick-your-own tulips for early-to-mid March, and McRay Farms at Luther skipped strawberries recently and has said publicly that whether the crop comes back is undetermined.
Two farms in this ring sell milk direct, and they are not the same animal. The Remnant Ranch at Lexington milks registered A2/A2 grass-fed Jerseys kept on unsprayed pasture around the clock — about twelve dollars a gallon in gallon jugs, glass on request, pre-ordered with a pickup time set ahead. Shekinah Springs Farm out past Guthrie milks Nubian goats and has milk available daily from March through October, with handmade goat milk soap off the same milk. Call the farm for availability.
For pumpkins, Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch at Arcadia is the full fall day — corn maze, hay and tractor rides, pony rides, petting zoo and a fun fort, with a 2026 season running September 17 to November 8. McRay Farms at Luther grows pumpkins too, on the same ground as the strawberries. For a tree, there is one farm here and only one: Sorghum Mill at Edmond, forty-five acres of it, cut-your-own or pre-cut, opening the weekend before Thanksgiving for pre-tagging and then daily after.
