Farm stands & farm stores

roadside stands and on-farm stores, state by state, across the South & Midwest
Lane No. IIPrice: free
85 farms listed13 states · 16 rings
One lane, pulled out of every ring in the book.

A farm stand is the shortest road there is between a field and a kitchen — a table at the end of a driveway, a shed by the highway, a store built onto the packing house. This page gathers every farm in the Almanac that sells that way: 85 of them, across 13 states and 16 metro rings.

They are grouped by state and then by the ring they sit in, and every one carries its real town and its real state — a few rings reach across a state line, and we say so rather than tidy it up. What each farm sells is written from what that farm publishes about itself. Nothing here is guessed at.

Before you go

Call first, or check the farm’s own page. A stand opens when the crop is in and closes when it’s picked out, and that is not a schedule anybody can print in advance. Where a farm publishes hours we carry them on its page. Where it doesn’t, we say so.
