“From beautiful waterfront weddings and private events to seasonal U-pick blueberries, blackberries, pumpkins, and more, our farm offers a unique blend of Southern charm, natural beauty, and family-friendly experiences.”
— their words, off their own page
Walter and Jimmie Bolin bought this farm in 1955. Their grandson, Walter Roop, took it over in 2018 and has run the forty acres since.
U-pick runs through the warm months — blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, alongside nectarines and muscadines, which is a Mississippi staple worth planning a trip around. Sunflowers and pumpkins come later. Local honey and farm-fresh eggs are on hand year round.
The farm books weddings and private events as well, so u-pick days get posted to their site and social pages rather than kept on fixed hours. Look before you go.
This ring gets better every time somebody tells us about a place. Send it over — the farm’s name, its town, and where a person can buy what it grows. No fee, no ads sold against anybody, and every link points at the farm’s own page.
